Announcing our Kickstarter

I love this company. I love making books, meeting authors and artists, and working with contributors toward a common vision. In the short time that we have been in existence, Dagan Books has pushed boundaries with our modern take on Lovecraft’s Mythos universe, gone into the future to explore alien archeology, and put together collections of genre-bending interstitial fiction that are both beautiful and strange. We’ve been able to feature gorgeous professional art on every one of our covers, and we’ve been committed to returning the greatest portion of our sales to our contributors.

I know that without our artists, authors, and volunteers, Dagan Books would just be one woman with a lot of ideas and nothing else.

But we need a little help moving forward, so we’ve created a Kickstarter to fund our next two anthologies, FISH and BIBLIOTHECA FANTASTICA. Please take a moment to read over our funding page, where you’ll find rewards, pictures, and a lot more information about who we are and what we plan to do with the next year. If you can, pledge to back our company (your donation won’t be charged until the end of the 30 days, and then only if we meet our funding goal). We appreciate every bit of help, and our reward levels start at one dollar.

Most of all, please spread the word. Share our Kickstarter page in email, on Twitter, Facebook, G+ … They more people who know about this, the better chance we have of making our goal from a series of small donations, so each person can give whatever amount they feel comfortable with.

Thank you.

- Carrie Cuinn, Publisher

Please note that Kickstarter will never disclose the amount you or your friends pledge, just that you’re proud backers.
